Class 4 Armbar Attack/Defence
Warm up: Legscoop pendulum angling. Bridging off partner’s back.
Part 1 - Armbar from closed guard (XX:25)
Part 1.1 - Standard armbar from guard
Elbow(pushing in) and head control
Mini swivel to toplock control
Scoop leg and control wrist
Legover and bridge to finish (one hand finish)

Elbow position in relation to groin
Chopping the leg over the head (bend of the knee above ear)
Switch to double hands on wrist for more power (but sacrifice angular control)

Wrist control and scoop leg
Swivel and legover to finish
Part 2 - Armbar defence from closed guard (XX:40)
Part 2.1 - Initial armbar defence
Lock hands and step up foot to balance
Figure 4 hands with outside leg grip
Transition to inside leg grip
Pressure down on leg and pull arm out
* Part 2.2 - Starting from back to knees
Lock hands
Figure 4 to inside leg grip
Pendulum lower body to get onto knees and foot step up
Pressure down on leg and pull arm out
Situational:
Situational Option 1 (attack focus)
Starting in standard closes guard
A-person works for toplock and armbar
B-person only needs to stay square and avoid top lock (20 seconds)
Situational Option 2 (defence focused)
Starting with armbar position, only hands locked, both knees down
A-person Work for inside leg figure 4 and escape arm
B-person has get armbar (don't need fully straightened arm, just hands unlocked)
