Basic Drills
Start in side control up on both knees, arms at 10 and 4 o'clock.
Switch arms to 8 and 2 o'clock.
Sit out on right hip facing opponent's head, resting on right elbow.
Take one big step over to north-south, arms by opponent's sides.
Switch left elbow across their body and backstep to opposite sit-out position (left hip).
Return to squared-up knees, arms at 10 and 4 o'clock.
Switch arms to 8 and 2 o'clock.
Sit out on right hip facing their legs, resting on right elbow.
Pull knee towards, step over to full mount.
Square up in full mount, arms at 10 and 2 o'clock.
Drop left elbow to 2 o'clock next to opponent's head, backstep to left to dismount.
Return to squared-up knees, arms at 10 and 4 o'clock.
