Passing Open Guard using Staple
Start in opponent’s guard with their ankles unlocked.
With right hand on their hip, use left hand to push down their knee and step up on left foot.
Place knee onto mat over their thigh to staple and step right foot up to shelf their leg on yours.
Secure a crossface with left arm and scoop opponent’s leg with right arm.
Backstep while keeping grips and left hook inside their thigh.
Lace legs and finish in side control with their knees pointing away.
