1. Start in opponent’s guard with their ankles unlocked.

  2. With right hand on their hip, use left hand to push down their knee and step up on left foot.

  3. Place knee onto mat over their thigh to staple and step right foot up to shelf their leg on yours.

  4. As opponent tries to pitch you away with their leg, pummel knee to butterfly mount.

  5. Position hands at 10 and 2 o’clock and flick ankles over hips to full mount.
