1. Starting in top halfguard with no grips.

  2. Switch your base and place elbow on mat below opponent’s farside elbow.

  3. Slide both elbow and butt backwards towards their armpits raising their arms.

  4. Get a deep scoop grip of their leg with your right arm.

  5. Extend right leg as you pull the scoop grip to create space between their legs.

  6. Extract leg out of their guard and into side control.

  7. Finish in north south position, hands on both sides.
